This peculiar landscape also comes from the work already mentioned, in the middle Coatzonte coxochitl (Stanhopea tigrina), on the right, however, the orchid Chichiltic tepetlavhxochitl (Laelia?) can be seen. These orchids, which actually grow epiphytically, are shown here as ground dwellers in supernatural size. The herbaceous plant in the left part of the picture is probably a tiger flower (Tigridia; Iris family, Iridaceae) to interpret.
